Color me beautiful

This shoot was way back in June but I only had time now to upload the pictures. I had one thought the week I decided to do this one: colors. I just wanted colors everywhere. I conscripted a photographer and bullied my beautiful friends into colorful clothes. The results were well worth the hours spent. Make-up and styling was all me. However as always, the kudos goes to these lovely ladies, Zyrelle, Mirabelle, Tracy (my willing and patient photographer who's not pictured but still appreciated) and Iva my last minute, reluctant but game model; for putting up with me bravely and making it all come together. Love you guys. Loads!

Andrea and Zyrelle came to visit!

As always, the urge to put poor defenseless people in clothes came over me and I conscripted Andrea and Zyrelle (two of the sweetest people I've ever known!) to come over and play. They came, poor Andrea had a cold but she kept smiling. Once again I subjected two people to hours of getting in and out of clothes and endless fussing. It was good times! Heart them both for coming. <3 Makeup, styling, photog all done by me. Pictures turned out pretty okay (who knew I had it in me? Lol) In order of appearance, the outfits are: All that Jazz, Spring fever (I totally just made that up cos I didn't name those ones! Lol) and last but not least, we have African Safari. (Mad love to my friend Ugonnia for letting me use that lovely vintage African dress on Andrea. You rule!)

Bowie got in one of Zyrelle's shots but the look she had was so devious and it kinda went with the black cat so I left it in there. So yeah, I totally meant to do that. This was so much fun!

One pair of pants, four uses

Everyone has a pair of pants that they live in. For some it's denim and for others it's track pants, for me, it's my grey harem pants. Most people shy away from buying harem pants becasue they're always stumped as to how to wear them and most never experiment, they just throw on a tank top and they're good to go. I wear my harem pants with everything! I have dressed it up, dressed it down, gone to work in it, partied in it, slept in it., I love these pants (in case you hadn't guessed that by now. Lol) But in any case, I felt like an ode to my favorite bottoms today and below are four of my fave ways to rock my saggy bottoms. They're awesome and oh so COMFY! Oh and I have names for the looks so in order of appearance we have: "Dinner with boyf", Hanging out with friends", "Ethnic funky fresh" (Yes, I said that) and last but not least "Bad influence." Guess which my fave is. :)

This last look, I am currently rocking out to a bar party (I threw a blazer over it). Pictures will most likely show up on Facebook, here's hoping I don't get wasted and puke all over my precious pants. Lol. Toodle-oo!
