One pair of pants, four uses

Everyone has a pair of pants that they live in. For some it's denim and for others it's track pants, for me, it's my grey harem pants. Most people shy away from buying harem pants becasue they're always stumped as to how to wear them and most never experiment, they just throw on a tank top and they're good to go. I wear my harem pants with everything! I have dressed it up, dressed it down, gone to work in it, partied in it, slept in it., I love these pants (in case you hadn't guessed that by now. Lol) But in any case, I felt like an ode to my favorite bottoms today and below are four of my fave ways to rock my saggy bottoms. They're awesome and oh so COMFY! Oh and I have names for the looks so in order of appearance we have: "Dinner with boyf", Hanging out with friends", "Ethnic funky fresh" (Yes, I said that) and last but not least "Bad influence." Guess which my fave is. :)

This last look, I am currently rocking out to a bar party (I threw a blazer over it). Pictures will most likely show up on Facebook, here's hoping I don't get wasted and puke all over my precious pants. Lol. Toodle-oo!

Mirabelle

Spring has finally arrived! Beautiful day today and I felt like playing dress up. Didn't feel like dressing myself (most times I'd rather not to be honest), so I recruited my lovely little sister who patiently sat as I fussed and fiddled and pulled and tugged for five hours. And best of all, she kept smiling. I recycled some of my favorite pieces on her but you have to admit, she wore them better! Spring in my step at 1am

My room's a mess and I'm completely exhausted but I can't help when I think up great stuff to wear. I suppose it's my longing for spring that caused this particular episode. Would that spring would be here soon, negative double digit weather is no fun at all! Oh by the way did I apologize for the long hiatus? School's a bit of a demanding mistress. :)

I had a few more but they were blurred. I'll retake them later and put them up. In the meantime I'll pray really hard for spring so I can actually wear these clothes!

Taking a break from copy

So this past week has been hell! I have projects at school coming out of my ears,I have deadlines at work and literally no time to eat, sleep or live. A few minutes ago, I decided to take a break from the insanity of advertising and journalism. What better way to do it than my fave hobby. Unfortunately, my awesome photographer wasn't around this time but I made do with what I have. I call this one "wild thing!" :D

Dress up with Iva

So I love to play dress up, it's my favorite thing to do. Usually I take pictures but most times it all happens in my head cos I'm too tired. Anyways, a few days ago my friend Iva who does things with a camera I could never manage, agreed to come over and document me playing dress up. I was so excited I spent all day obsessing about it. Sadly we got back to my house late so we had to do it early the next morning because we both had to work that day. The next day turned out to be a disgusting foggy day but we worked with it. Below are the results of two hours well spent! All photo credits go to Iva who's not only a sweetheart for making me look presentable at 9am in the morning but a super super awesome person for agreeing to wake up that early!
